Almacén Argentino

Almacén Argentino is a Dublin-based Argentinian grocer, and its yerba section is the deepest in the country: 21 brands and more than 80 individual products, with 500 g and 1 kg options across nearly the whole range. If a brand is imported into Ireland at all, this is usually where it is. Pricing is flat and low — most 500 g bags sit in a narrow €5.50–€6.00 band, which was the cheapest shelf price we recorded for the majority of the catalogue.

The trade-off is delivery. Free shipping starts at €100, the highest bar of any Irish shop selling yerba, against €75 at yerbamate.ie, €65 at Three Spoons and €25 on Amazon. Below that it is €7 within Dublin and Co. Dublin and €10 to the rest of Ireland, Northern Ireland included. The effect is a clear split: for a €120 group order, Almacén is unbeatable on both range and price; for a €60 order outside Dublin, the €10 charge wipes out the shelf-price advantage.

Dublin buyers get the best of it — orders are arranged within 24 hours, and free collection is available by prior arrangement, which removes shipping from the equation entirely. Outside Dublin, orders are dispatched within two working days.
